John and Sue Dowling will be hosting a group in their home on Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:00 PM and will be studying a Ray Vander Laan series.
The That the World May Know series is a video-based Bible study filmed on location in the Middle East and surrounding regions. Vander Laan, a historian and Bible teacher, connects the cultural, historical, and geographical context of Scripture to its meaning and application today. Each lesson helps viewers see the Bible come alive by exploring the places where biblical events happened, showing how God’s Word was lived out in its original setting, and how it still calls us to live faithfully so “that the world may know” God.
